It was a medium-sized fish that undertook a big journey. It started in the waters of the Mullaroo Creek near the South Australia/Victoria border, and finished more than 180 kilometres away near Mildura, in the mighty Murray River. In between, and over the course of about six months, the Golden Perch survived by eating yabbies and shrimps.
